AI answers can only cite pages their crawlers may fetch and parse. One soft 404 and the citation goes to whoever ships cleaner machine-readable files.
What it checks
Fetches your /llms.txt and validates it for AI crawlers.
Reachability, soft-404 sniffing (200 with HTML body), H1 presence, live Markdown links.
How verdicts work
pass means reachable with an H1 and at least one live link; a soft 404 (HTML body) fails; a clean 404 is na — a missing file is allowed, just not citable.
Reads the no-JS response only, never runs JS. Follows up to 5 redirects.
