What it checks

Fetches your sitemap and validates structure, entries and the official file limit.

urlset/sitemapindex structure, entry count, 50,000-URL single-file ceiling, 2MB fetch cap.

pass means valid structure within the file limit; broken structures and oversized counts fail with reasons.

Reads the raw XML only, never renders. Sitemaps up to 2MB.
